Ingredients:

  •  1 cup Khoya
  •  1 Cup Alphonso Mango Pulp
  •  Four teaspoons of sugar (Sugar or Stevia as per your taste).
  •  Saffron strands
  •  Cardamom powder
  •  Poppy seeds as per your taste

Step 1

Just crumble Khoya in a pan. Place a frying pan on medium flame and saute Khoya until it melts and forms a thick paste.

Step 2

Put a Sugar or use Stevia as per your choice if you want to make it sugar-free.  Open Our Alphonso Mango Pulp Tin and pour this with sugar or Stevia in melted khoya.  Now slowly mix the mixture on low flame.

It thickens the mix and adds some saffron strands and cardamom powder if required. Just sauté for some time on low flame once the mixture thickens.

Step 3

If you are a good chef, you can make shapes directly or use Modak Sacha (Modak mold) to mold. Switch off the gas flame and pour this mixture on a plate. Now prepare small balls from this mixture.

Step 4

As an optional step, you can roll these balls into poppy seeds if required and add dried ginger powder (सुंठ ) to a mixture.

Step 5

Remove the Modak's in a plate from mold, and now it is ready for offering as a Prasad or Naivedyam. It depends on you, serve warm or chilled as per your choice. As a process, please offer these Mango Modaks to the Lord Ganesha first as a Naivedyam, ask his blessing for you, and then distribute it to all your loved ones.
