Why Alphonso works as a client gift
A corporate gift has two jobs: it should be useful or enjoyable, and it should say something about the giver. Alphonso (Hapus) does both for a narrow reason. It is a seasonal fruit from the Konkan coast with a loyal following, and most people in the cities where your clients live do not buy it every week. Receiving a box in season feels like a treat, and the gift is eaten within days, not stored in a cupboard.

We have sold mangoes since 2019, online since 2020, with 47,000+ customers across online, offline and marketplace sales, and we supply restaurants and hotels as well as households. Our Alphonso is sourced across 55 villages of the Ratnagiri and Devgad belt, and we hold the GI Authorised User certificate AU/5974/GI/139/260 (GI No. 139).
Fruit is not the right gift for every client. A mango is perishable, it depends on someone being at the address, and it is available only in season. Those limits are real, and the rest of this page is about working inside them.
What you can send
We do not sell a pre-built branded gift box. What we sell is fruit, and corporate buyers use it in three ways:
- A dozen Alphonso per recipient. Ratnagiri Alphonso Mango or Devgad Alphonso Mango, from Rs 1,849 per dozen, with larger fruit grades costing more. A dozen weighs roughly 1.8 to 3.3 kg depending on grade.
- Kesar for a second option. Kesar Mango is Rs 999 for a half-dozen and Rs 1,699 for a dozen. It is a different mango from Gujarat and is not Alphonso.
- Pulp for the off-season. The Alphonso Mango Pulp Tin (850 g and 3.1 kg, from Rs 590) is available all year.

Planning a corporate mango gifting list
The work in corporate gifting is the list, not the fruit. A clean list avoids most problems. We suggest collecting the following for every recipient before you write to us:

Prefer office addresses on a working day for business contacts, and home addresses for personal gifts. If you do not know a client's preference, ask the executive assistant for a delivery contact.
How bulk and multi-city orders work
For corporate or bulk gifts, write to us first with the quantity, the cities and the dates, at support@alphonsomango.in or 8369048029. We will tell you what is realistic. We do not publish fixed bulk terms, because they would differ for each destination and quantity.
- Send the list and the date by which the gifts should arrive.
- We confirm what is possible for each destination.
- Orders are placed and dispatched by Blue Dart. We dispatch by Blue Dart, and about 65% of Indian PIN codes get next-day delivery. Orders received before 1 PM are dispatched the same day. Check your PIN code at checkout.
- The recipients open the box on the day it arrives and report any damage within 24 hours of delivery.

Tax and invoice
There is no GST on fresh mangoes. For corporate gifting orders, GST applies on shipping, and the invoice shows it. That is all we state here. We do not give tax advice, including whether a gift can be treated as a business expense or whether any input credit applies; ask your accountant for that, and ask us for the invoice in the form your finance team needs.
Keep the name of the company, the address for billing and the delivery list together when you write to us, so the invoice and the shipments match.
Quality: how the fruit is ripened and what recipients should do
We do not use carbide. Our Alphonso mangoes are ripened naturally on hay beds. Calcium carbide is prohibited for ripening fruit in India under Regulation 2.3.5 of the Food Safety and Standards (Prohibition and Restrictions on Sales) Regulations, 2011. We are an FSSAI-licensed seller. Fruit is hand-harvested at Brahma Muhurta with a zela pole fitted with a catching net.
Harvest to ripening of Alphonso takes about 15 days, so a gift box may hold firm and ripe fruit together. Tell recipients to lay the mangoes out in a single layer at room temperature, check them daily, and not to refrigerate firm fruit. Timing: when to order for the 2027 season
Alphonso is harvested about February to June, with the best supply from March to May. The 2027 season opens on 1 February 2027, and the fresh listings show as unavailable until then. Fresh Alphonso is not sold outside the season. Plan the list in advance, so you can write to us as soon as the season opens, and avoid choosing a gifting date that cannot move.
