A mango corporate gift idea that actually works: GI-certified Alphonso mangoes from Ratnagiri or Devgad, with hay-bed ripening and no carbide. Orders placed before 12 noon IST (Monday to Saturday) are dispatched the same day. Delivery takes 1 to 3 days for most PIN codes and 1 to 2 days to most metros, depending on your PIN code. Fresh mangoes are delivered by Blue Dart to more than 4,700 PIN codes.
Shop Mango Corporate Gifts
These are the two products we recommend for corporate gifting. Both carry the GI No. 139 authorisation. Both are dispatched within 48–72 hours of harvest.
Alphonso mangoes from our sourcing villages — Devgad, Girye, Pawas, Golap, Nachane and 50+ others across Ratnagiri and Sindhudurg — are available as a half dozen, one dozen or two dozen box. Corporate orders start from 5 dozen (roughly 15–20 kg). Pair them with W180 jumbo cashews or masala cashews from the same Konkan belt for a complete gift.
Ratnagiri vs Devgad: Which to Gift?
Both varieties carry GI No. 139. The difference is subtle but real — our repeat-order data from 47,000+ customers shows north India tends to choose Ratnagiri, while Mumbai leans Devgad. Here is how they compare:
| Feature | Ratnagiri Alphonso | Devgad Alphonso |
|---|---|---|
| GI Authorisation | AU/5974/GI/139/260 | AU/6932 |
| Season | February to June (peak March–May) | February to June (peak March–May) |
| Brix at full ripeness | 18–24° | 18–24° (typically upper end) |
| Fruit weight (by grade) | 150–275 g and above | 150–275 g and above |
| Flavour profile | Rich, aromatic, slight tartness | Deeper sweetness, dense pulp |
| Gift grades available | Medium, Extra Large, Jumbo | Medium, Extra Large, Jumbo |
| Best for gifting | Pan-India corporate orders | Connoisseur-level gifting, Mumbai |
For corporate orders where the recipient list spans multiple cities, Ratnagiri is the safer default. If you are gifting a single premium client who knows their mangoes, ask us about Devgad Extra Large or Jumbo grade.
Delivery Across India
Fruit is dispatched at 70–80% ripeness — firm enough to survive transit and ripe within about three days of delivery. The supply chain runs like this: harvest to Ratnagiri or Devgad packhouse in roughly 2 hours, air-conditioned transport to Mumbai in 10–12 hours, 24–48 hours of natural hay-bed ripening at the Mumbai packhouse, then dispatch.
Courier is BlueDart, Delhivery, Ekart or XpressBees depending on your pin code.
Packaging is a 5-ply corrugated fibreboard box with 130 gsm paper, alternate flute orientation and reinforced corners. Every mango sits in a foam-net sleeve (flat width 50–55 mm) on a hay bed inside a 12-slot partition that absorbs transit pressure instead of the fruit. Six air holes top and bottom keep airflow going so condensation evaporates. The foam nets prevent the one thing that ruins Alphonso in transit — skin friction, which blackens the lenticels.
We do not ship fresh Alphonso from July to January. That is when the orchards rest. Plan your gifting between February and June.
Why a Mango Beats the Usual Corporate Gift
A pen set or a branded diary sits in a drawer. A box of Devgad Alphonso at 22° Brix gets eaten the same evening and remembered the next morning. That is the practical case for a mango corporate gift idea.
There is a cultural dimension too. The mango is a symbol of prosperity and good luck across most of South Asia — showing up at a client's desk with Hapus from Ratnagiri or Devgad lands differently from a hamper of imported chocolates. It says you sourced something specific, seasonal and local. Eighteen percent of our orders are already gifts; the repeat-customer rate is 46%, which tells you the fruit does the talking.
For employees, mangoes work year-round as an appreciation token during the February–June window — which happens to coincide with Q4 close, annual appraisal season and summer incentive programmes. Luxury hotel groups, corporate banks, pharma companies and IT consultancies have all placed bulk orders with us. In May 2026 we dispatched a multi-destination corporate order across India.
Which occasions work best?
Diwali is not the right time — the season ends by June and we do not stock fresh fruit in October. But summer gifting occasions suit mangoes exactly: Q1 client appreciation (April–May), annual general meetings, employee recognition in appraisal season, product launches timed between March and May, and export-market gifting where Alphonso's international reputation (we export to the US, UK, UAE, Singapore and Japan) adds visible credibility.
GI Tag, Lab Testing and What They Mean for You
GI No. 139 covers Alphonso grown in Ratnagiri and Sindhudurg districts. Powle Home Foods holds GI Authorised User certificate AU/5974/GI/139/260 (Registry Certificate No. 4163, issued 16 October 2019). That authorisation is verifiable at the GI Registry. When you gift our mangoes, you can tell your client exactly where the fruit comes from — down to Girye in Devgad taluka or Pawas in Ratnagiri taluka.
We test every weekly batch through the season. Envirocare Labs Pvt. Ltd., Thane — NABL accredited, certificate TC-8284 — issued report 01/ETHAP2500044 on 5 April 2025. All 28 residues were within Codex maximum residue limits; 27 of 28 were below the limit of quantification (0.01 mg/kg). One residue, thiamethoxam, was detected at 0.013 mg/kg against a Codex limit of 0.2 mg/kg. We say independently tested and within limits, not pesticide-free — one residue was detected, within safe limits.

How the Fruit Reaches You Ripe
We use natural hay-bed (Aadi) ripening only, in temperature-controlled rooms. No ethylene chambers. No calcium carbide. No artificial ripening agents of any kind. The 24–48 hours the fruit spends at our Mumbai packhouse is hay ripening, monitored by our team — not gas-triggered.
Fruit never falls from the tree. Prashant Powle specified a harvest method using a Nutan or Zela pole with a catching net and cutting mechanism. For tall trees, an indigenously developed length-extending pole with a camera is used. The tree is never shaken. That matters because bruising at harvest shows up as spongy tissue three days later — and spongy tissue in a corporate gift box is not acceptable.
Before packing, every fruit goes through AI/ML-assisted machine scanning for internal deformities (spongy tissue) and external defects. Then it is weighed and graded: Small (150–180 g), Medium (180–225 g), Extra Large (250–275 g) or Jumbo (275–300 g). Corporate gifts typically go in Extra Large or Jumbo.
HoReCa and Bulk Corporate Orders
Corporate and HoReCa orders start at 5 dozen (roughly 15–20 kg). Typical corporate volumes run from 1–2 dozen boxes upward. We handle multi-destination dispatch — one purchase order, multiple delivery addresses — which is what makes us practical for HR teams gifting across pan-India offices.
Industries we regularly supply: luxury hotel groups, event and exhibition organisers, retail conglomerates, private banks and wealth managers, pharma companies, real-estate developers, IT consultancies, media and PR agencies, and law and accounting firms.
For bulk enquiries, write to us or use the contact page. We confirm availability, discuss grade and box options, and lock the dispatch window — all before you pay. The 2027 mango season starts on 1 February 2027, and fresh mangoes are out of stock until then.
If a transit-damaged or quality-failed fruit arrives, report it within 24 hours of delivery with photos or video on WhatsApp. We dispatch a fresh replacement or credit your account for the next purchase. No physical return is required.

People Also Ask
What are some ideas for corporate gifts?
GI-certified Alphonso mangoes from Ratnagiri or Devgad are one of the sharpest corporate gift ideas during the February–June season. A one or two dozen box, dispatched within 48–72 hours of harvest and delivered across India, says far more than a branded pen set or imported chocolate hamper.
Pair a mango box with W180 jumbo cashews from the same Konkan belt for a complete gift — corporate orders start from 5 dozen.
What are some fun gift ideas for mango?
A curated box of GI-certified Alphonso — Devgad Extra Large or Jumbo grade, ripened on a hay bed, never carbide-treated — is a gift that gets eaten the same evening and remembered the next morning. Half dozen, one dozen or two dozen box options let you match the gift to the occasion and the recipient.
For a connoisseur client, order Devgad Alphonso at the upper end of the 18–24° Brix range — deeper sweetness and dense pulp that stands apart from anything on a supermarket shelf.
What are some business ideas for mangoes?
Bulk multi-destination gifting is the most direct mango business model in the February–June season: a GI-authorised brand dispatches boxes to a corporate recipient list across 15,000–17,000 Indian pin codes. Luxury hotels, private banks, pharma companies and IT consultancies have all placed bulk orders with us, starting from 5 dozen boxes upward.
Export is another path — Alphonso's international reputation in the US, UK, UAE, Singapore and Japan gives verified GI-tagged fruit a credibility edge that most tropical mangoes lack.
What are some good corporate gifts?
A box of Ratnagiri or Devgad Alphonso — GI-certified, hay-bed ripened, tested by NABL-accredited Envirocare Labs with all 28 residues within Codex limits — is a good corporate gift because it is specific, seasonal and verifiable. Eighteen percent of orders placed on alphonsomango.in are already gifts, and 46% of customers reorder.
For pan-India recipient lists, Ratnagiri Alphonso is the safer default; for a single premium client, ask about Devgad Jumbo grade sourced from villages like Girye or Devgad taluka.
