Alphonso mangoes (Hapus) for delivery to Nashik — GI-certified from Ratnagiri and Devgad

People in Nashik and Ahmednagar search for hapus mango in a few different ways: "hapus mango in Nashik", "Alphonso mango Nashik", or simply where to get a real dozen without driving to Mumbai. This page answers that. Both cities are inland districts of Maharashtra, and neither sits in the Konkan belt where Alphonso is grown, so the fruit has to travel to you. We handle that by courier, and you order on the website.

The fruit is Alphonso (Hapus) from the Ratnagiri and Devgad belt of the Konkan coast. We source across 48 villages there and we hold GI Authorised User certificate AU/5974/GI/139/260 (GI No. 139). You can read the paperwork on our Brand Facts page. Fresh Alphonso is a seasonal fruit. It is harvested from about February to June, with the best supply from March to May, and the 2027 season opens on 1 February 2027. Outside the season we do not sell fresh Alphonso. Our Alphonso Mango Pulp Tin is available all year if you want the flavour in the off months.

Ratnagiri or Devgad: which one should you order?

Both are the same variety, Alphonso, grown in the same coastal belt. Ratnagiri is a district and Devgad is a taluka in Sindhudurg district. We do not rank one above the other. What changes for you is the listing: each has its own product page, its own sizes and its own price, so choose the one that fits your budget and the size you want. You can open the Ratnagiri Alphonso page and the Devgad Alphonso page side by side and compare the dozen options.

If you are buying for the first time, start with one dozen. A dozen is easy to share across a family, and you will know quickly whether you want more next time. If you are buying for a larger gathering, the bigger dozen options on the product pages hold larger fruit, so you get fewer disappointments about size.

Dozens, sizes and what you pay

Alphonso is sold by the dozen on our site, from Rs 1,849 per dozen for the smaller grades. The largest Ratnagiri option goes up to Rs 5,399, and the biggest listing on the order-online page goes up to Rs 10,499. A dozen weighs roughly 1.8 to 3.3 kg depending on the grade. Prices change, so check the product page for today's price before you pay. We do not quote a per-kilo price, because the fruit is graded and sold by the piece and the dozen.

How to read the dozen options
If you want Start with Why
A first trial box One dozen in the smaller grade Lowest entry price, from Rs 1,849
Bigger fruit for a family A larger grade on the same page Each fruit is heavier, so a dozen weighs more
Mango for every month The pulp tin Available all year, from Rs 590

Fruit looks different from grade to grade, and not every mango in a box is the same colour. That is normal for a naturally ripened fruit. If you want to know how to judge a real Alphonso, our guide on how to identify authentic Hapus mango goes through it, and we are clear that no home test proves authenticity on its own.

Delivery to Nashik and Ahmednagar

We dispatch by Blue Dart, and about 65% of Indian PIN codes get next-day delivery. Check your PIN code at checkout. We do not promise a day for a named city, because the courier decides that by PIN code, and the promise would only be true for some of your area. Enter the PIN code at checkout and you will see what applies to your address. If you are ordering for someone in Ahmednagar from Nashik, or the other way round, give the recipient's PIN code, not yours.

Our mango delivery guide explains the dispatch process in more detail, and the page for online mangoes delivery in Nashik covers the Nashik side separately. For the full season picture, see our Alphonso mango season page.

What to do when the box arrives

  • Open the box as soon as it arrives. Lift the fruit out gently and lay it in a single layer, not stacked.
  • Let it finish ripening at room temperature if it is still firm. A ripe Alphonso smells sweet near the stalk and gives slightly under a gentle press.
  • Put fully ripe fruit in the fridge if you will not eat it within a day or two, and take it out about half an hour before eating.
  • Report damage within 24 hours of delivery by writing to support@alphonsomango.in with your order number.

Our ripening guide has the longer version of the room-temperature advice. We do not use carbide. Our Alphonso mangoes are ripened naturally on hay beds.

Kesar mango and cashews from the same store

Many buyers in this part of Maharashtra also ask for Kesar, a Gujarat mango with a different character from Alphonso. We sell Kesar mango in half-dozen boxes at Rs 999 and dozen boxes at Rs 1,699. It is a separate variety from a separate region, and we do not describe it as Alphonso. Like all fresh mango, it is sold in season only.

If you want something that is available in every month, we also sell cashew nuts. The W180 jumbo cashew nuts are whole jumbo kernels, and the same store has split, roasted, salted and masala cashew options too.

Hotels, events and gifts

We supply restaurants and hotels, and the same dozens work for a family function or a gift. For a gift, order online and enter the recipient's address and PIN code at checkout. For a larger order for a restaurant, hotel or event, write to us first with your quantity, your city and the date you need the fruit, and we will tell you what is possible. See our gifting page and page for hotels and restaurants for how to start that conversation.

There is no GST on fresh mangoes. For corporate gifting orders, GST applies on shipping, and the invoice shows it.
