Alphonso mango subscription box recurring delivery showing courier boxes of fresh golden Hapus with a delivery schedule calendar

An Alphonso mango subscription box means fresh Hapus delivered on a repeating schedule through the season, February to June. AlphonsoMango.in sells Ratnagiri and Devgad Alphonso by the dozen from Rs 1,849; for repeat deliveries in 2027, write to us with quantity, address and dates.

What an Alphonso mango subscription box is

A subscription box, in the mango sense, is a standing arrangement: a dozen or more Alphonso delivered to the same address at a set interval, weekly, fortnightly or monthly, for as long as the season lasts. The point is not novelty. Alphonso is in supply for only a few months, and a household that eats a dozen a week does not want to remember to reorder every Sunday.

We are Powle Home Foods, Mumbai, and we run AlphonsoMango.in. We have served 47,000+ customers, including offline and marketplace sales, since our first offline sales in 2019. Fruit is sourced across 48 villages of the Ratnagiri and Devgad belt on the Konkan coast, and we hold the GI Authorised User certificate AU/5974/GI/139/260 (GI No. 139).

This page explains plainly what we can arrange, what the fruit costs by the dozen, how the season shapes any delivery plan, and what to ask before you commit money to any mango subscription, ours or anyone else's.

How we arrange repeat Alphonso deliveries

Our store sells by the dozen, one order at a time, on the Ratnagiri Alphonso Mango and Devgad Alphonso Mango pages. Repeat ordering is the simplest subscription there is: place the next order when the current box is half eaten, and the fruit arrives as the bowl empties.

For a fixed schedule through the season, write to us at support@alphonsomango.in with three things: how many dozen per delivery, the delivery address and PIN code, and the dates or interval you want. We will tell you plainly what is possible for your PIN code and the season's supply. We do not publish plan prices or minimum quantities on this page, because we would rather confirm them with you in writing than print a number that may not hold.

If we run a prepaid season pass for 2027, it will be listed on our Alphonso Season Pass page. Offices and gifting orders are covered on our corporate gifting guide; we also supply restaurants and hotels.

What the fruit costs per dozen

Any subscription plan is built on the dozen price, so start there. Alphonso fruits generally weigh 150 to 300 g, and our boxes are graded by fruit size. Ratnagiri and Devgad Alphonso start from Rs 1,849 per dozen for the smallest grade, and the largest Ratnagiri option goes up to Rs 5,399. A dozen weighs roughly 1.8 to 3.3 kg depending on grade. Check the product page for today's price.

Working out a season plan from the dozen price
Household A sensible interval Dozens per delivery Starting point
One or two people Every two weeks 1 from Rs 1,849 per delivery
Family of four Weekly 1 to 2 from Rs 1,849 per dozen
Joint family or a floor of flats Weekly 3 or more write to us with the quantity
Office pantry Weekly or fortnightly As needed see the corporate gifting guide

These intervals are only arithmetic: a dozen Alphonso at room temperature ripens over a few days and then keeps a few more days in the fridge, so a box a week suits a family that eats one or two a day. There is no GST on fresh mangoes; for corporate gifting orders GST applies on shipping and the invoice shows it.

How the season shapes a delivery plan

Alphonso is harvested about February to June, with the best supply from March to May. The 2027 season opens on 1 February 2027. Any plan has to live inside those months. Early-season deliveries draw on scarcer fruit, the middle of the season has the widest choice of grades, and by June the orchards are finishing. Fresh Alphonso is not sold outside the season, so no honest plan runs in October.

Harvest is done at Brahma Muhurta, the pre-dawn hour, for all our Alphonso, and the fruit is hand-harvested with a zela pole fitted with a catching net. We do not use carbide. Our Alphonso mangoes are ripened naturally on hay beds. Calcium carbide use for ripening is prohibited by FSSAI under Regulation 2.3.5 of the Food Safety and Standards (Prohibition and Restrictions on Sales) Regulations, 2011. We are an FSSAI-licensed seller.

Between seasons, the Alphonso Mango Pulp tin is available all year in 850 g and 3.1 kg tins, from Rs 590. A tin a month is a reasonable off-season plan for aamras and shakes, and it needs no schedule at all.

Delivery on a schedule

We dispatch by Blue Dart, and about 65% of Indian PIN codes get next-day delivery. Check your PIN code at checkout. Repeat deliveries use the same courier and the same address each time, so get the address right once: building, floor, a landmark, and a mobile number that answers. Open each box on arrival, lay the fruit out in a single layer, and report any damage within 24 hours of delivery by writing to support@alphonsomango.in.

  • Each delivery arrives firm, with a day or more of ripening left; that is by design.
  • Keep a tray free for the new box so the older fruit is eaten first.
  • Tell us in advance if you will be away, so a box does not wait at a security desk.

Our ripening guide explains how to keep a rolling supply ripening evenly.

What to ask before paying for any mango subscription

Subscription is a word that invites prepayment, and prepayment deserves questions. Ask these of any seller, including us.

  • Which district does the fruit come from, and can the seller show a GI Authorised User number for Alphonso?
  • Is the price per dozen stated, and by fruit grade?
  • What happens to the schedule if the season ends early or supply is short in a given week?
  • How was the fruit ripened?
  • Can the arrangement be confirmed in writing before any money changes hands?

Alphonso from the Ratnagiri and Devgad belt is GI-tagged in India (GI No. 139), and the details of our certificate are on our Brand Facts page. Our dos and don'ts of buying Alphonso online lists more checks.
