You can buy Alphonso mangoes online from AlphonsoMango.in by the dozen, from Rs 1,849 per dozen for Ratnagiri and Devgad fruit in season. Choose the size, enter your PIN code at checkout, and check the product page for the current price.
What you are ordering

Our online listings are for Alphonso, sold by the dozen. There are two Alphonso products for fresh fruit: the Ratnagiri Alphonso Mango and the Devgad Alphonso Mango. Both are the same variety, called Hapus in Marathi. Ratnagiri is a district on the Konkan coast, and Devgad is a taluka in Sindhudurg district. Our fruit is sourced from 55 villages in that belt, and Alphonso from this belt is GI-tagged in India under GI No. 139.
Each listing also shows the stock status, so you can see at a glance whether a size is on sale. Each listing shows the fruit size, the number of fruits in a dozen, and the price from the product page. Larger boxes are shown on our order-online page. Read the listing before you add it to your cart, because the size you choose decides how many fruits arrive.
Choosing a fruit size

Our Alphonso is graded by the weight of each fruit. The sizes on the Ratnagiri listing run from 150 to 180 g per fruit up to 275 to 300 g per fruit, and the Devgad listing uses the same sizes. A dozen weighs roughly 1.8 to 3.3 kg depending on grade. Smaller fruit costs less per dozen and suits aamras, shakes and kulfi. Larger fruit is easier to eat whole or sliced, and it looks better for gifting. For gifting, even fruit in a larger size makes the best impression, and our gifting page page explains the options.
Check the product page for the current price, because prices are set per dozen and can change. We do not quote a per-kilogram rate, so compare sellers by the dozen and the fruit size instead of a headline figure.
Kesar and Pairi listings
If you want a different mango, two other varieties are listed. Our Kesar mango is a Gujarat variety. It is sold in a half-dozen for Rs 999 and a dozen for Rs 1,699. Our Pairi mango is a Konkan variety from Maharashtra, popular for aamras, and it is listed from Rs 2,799 per dozen. Kesar and Pairi are not Alphonso, and they do not carry the GI certificate that we hold for Alphonso, so do not compare them on that basis.
Fresh Kesar and Pairi are also sold in season. When a listing shows as unavailable, it means that fruit is not on sale at that time. The product pages show the current status, so check there before you order.
How delivery works
Before you pay, enter your PIN code at checkout. The delivered total and the timing depend on your PIN code, because the courier route decides the timing, not a single city rule. If your address is outside the next-day areas, the box still travels by Blue Dart, and the timing shown at checkout is the one to plan around. We dispatch by Blue Dart, and about 65% of Indian PIN codes get next-day delivery. Orders received before 1 PM are dispatched the same day.
For corporate gifting orders, shipping is extra. GST does not apply to fresh mangoes, but GST does apply on the shipping for corporate gifting orders, and the invoice shows it. If you are ordering as a business, keep the invoice for your records.
If you are in Mumbai and want to talk before you order, you can visit the office at No. 07, Bhave House, Kale Marg, Bail Bajar, Kurla West, Mumbai 400070. Please call 8369048029 first so that someone is available to meet you.
When the box arrives

Open the box on the day it arrives. Lay the fruit in a single layer away from direct sun, and check the fruit for damage. Report any damage within 24 hours of delivery to support@alphonsomango.in or call 8369048029, with a clear note of what you received. Keep the box and the label until the fruit is finished, so the details are to hand if you need them.
We do not use carbide. Our Alphonso mangoes are ripened naturally on hay beds. Firm fruit ripens at room temperature. A sweet smell at the stalk and a slight give at the shoulder mean the fruit is ready. Our ripening guide for Alphonso mangoes covers the steps in more detail. Do not put firm fruit in the fridge, because cold stops the ripening.
Pulp for the months without fresh fruit

Fresh Alphonso is sold in season, and the Alphonso Mango Pulp Tin is the practical option for the rest of the year. It comes in an 850 g tin for Rs 590 and a 3.1 kg tin for Rs 2,100, and it is available all year. Use the pulp the way you would use fresh fruit, and add sugar only after you have tasted it. It works for aamras, shakes, kulfi and the desserts in our aamrakhand recipe. Check the product page for the current price before you order.
Once a tin is opened, keep it covered in the fridge and use it within a few days. A tin is a simple way to make aamras for a family gathering without buying a full dozen of fresh fruit, and it saves time on peeling and cutting.
