Buy Mangoes Online | Buy Mango Online - AlphonsoMango.in

You can buy mangoes online from AlphonsoMango.in during the season: Alphonso from Ratnagiri and Devgad from Rs 1,849 per dozen, Kesar from Gujarat from Rs 999 a half-dozen and Pairi from Konkan at Rs 2,799 a dozen, all sent by Blue Dart.

Why buy mangoes online, and what to check

Buy mangoes online: Alphonso, Kesar and Pairi from AlphonsoMango.in

A mango bought online should arrive as one grade of one variety, from a named place, with the ripening method stated. That is the whole case for ordering a box rather than picking from a street cart, where a pile can mix varieties, sizes and ripeness. We are Powle Home Foods in Mumbai, and we have sold mangoes online under the AlphonsoMango.in name since 2020, after starting offline in 2019; across online, offline and marketplace sales we have served more than 47,000 customers.

Before you pay any seller, including us, check four things on the product page: the variety and district, the grade or fruit weight, the count in the box, and how the fruit is ripened. We do not use carbide. Our Alphonso mangoes are ripened naturally on hay beds. Selling fruit ripened with calcium carbide (acetylene) gas is prohibited under Regulation 2.3.5 of the Food Safety and Standards (Prohibition and Restrictions on Sales) Regulations, 2011, so a seller should be able to answer the ripening question without hesitation.

Which mangoes you can buy online from us

Mango varieties we sell, with origin and starting price
Mango Origin What it is like Price
Alphonso (Hapus) Ratnagiri and Devgad belt, Konkan, Maharashtra Saffron-coloured, rich, creamy, non-fibrous pulp; strong aroma; GI No. 139 From Rs 1,849 per dozen
Kesar Gujarat Orange pulp, sweet with a little tang; good for juice, shakes and daily eating Half-dozen Rs 999, dozen Rs 1,699
Pairi (Payari) Maharashtra (Konkan) Juicy, tangy-sweet; the traditional partner to Alphonso in aamras From Rs 2,799 per dozen

Alphonso from the Ratnagiri and Devgad belt is GI-tagged in India (GI No. 139), and we hold GI Authorised User certificate AU/5974/GI/139/260 (GI No. 139); we source it across 55 villages of that belt. Kesar got its name when the Nawab of Junagadh, Mahabat Khan III, named it Kesar around 1934 on seeing its orange pulp (Wikipedia, Zee News); we do not call Kesar GI-tagged. Prices change through the season, so check the product page for the current price. For a wider tour of Indian varieties, see our types of mangoes guide.

The best place to buy mangoes online is the one that answers these questions

Searches for "best place to buy mangoes online" bring up marketplaces, grocery apps and growers' own sites. Rather than tell you we are the best, here is how to compare any of them, us included.

  • Named origin and grade on every listing. Ours show the district and the fruit weight band for Alphonso.
  • A certificate you can read. Our GI Authorised User certificate is on the Brand Facts page.
  • A food licence. We are an FSSAI-licensed seller.
  • A stated ripening method. Hay beds, in our case, with no carbide.
  • A clear dispatch rule and courier. We dispatch by Blue Dart, and about 65% of Indian PIN codes get next-day delivery. Check your PIN code at checkout. Orders received before 1 PM are dispatched the same day.

If you are comparing by city, our notes on mango delivery in Bangalore and where to find mangoes near you cover what to expect. We do not promise a delivery day for any named city; the PIN code decides.

When to buy mangoes online in India

The Indian mango season runs through the summer, and each variety has its own window. Alphonso is harvested from about February to June, with the best supply from March to May; the 2027 season opens on 1 February 2027. Kesar and Pairi follow their own windows within the summer, and the product pages show live stock. India produces roughly 43% of the world's mangoes (FAO figures that also include mangosteens and guavas), about 26 million tonnes in 2023, so there is a lot of fruit, but the named premium varieties are short-season.

Fresh Alphonso is not sold outside the season. From July to January the Alphonso mango pulp tin is the honest alternative for aamras, shakes, kulfi and shrikhand. Our season guide tracks the months.

How to order, and what happens next

  1. Open the mango collection and choose the variety.
  2. For Alphonso, pick the grade (fruit weight) and the box: half dozen, one dozen or two dozen. A dozen weighs roughly 1.8 to 3.3 kg depending on grade.
  3. Enter your PIN code at checkout and read the delivery message before paying.
  4. Open the box on arrival, lay the fruit in a single layer at room temperature and do not refrigerate until ripe. Harvest to ripening of Alphonso takes about 15 days, so some fruit arrives firm.

Sending a box to someone else is the same process with their address; our send mangoes online guide and gifting page cover gifts. We ship directly to the UAE; for other countries, shipments have been arranged through the customer's own contact abroad rather than as a standard service, so write to us first. We also supply restaurants and hotels during the season; for corporate gifting orders, shipping is extra.

  3. Step 3: Checkout and delivery. Enter your delivery address and PIN code at checkout. We dispatch by Blue Dart, and about 65% of Indian PIN codes get next-day delivery. Check your PIN code at checkout. Orders received before 1 PM are dispatched the same day.

People also ask

Where can I buy mangoes online in India?

From growers’ own stores such as AlphonsoMango.in, from marketplaces and from grocery apps. Whichever you choose, look for the variety and district, the fruit grade, the count in the box and the ripening method on the listing. We sell Alphonso, Kesar and Pairi by the dozen during the season, dispatched by Blue Dart.

What is the best place to buy mangoes online?

The best place is the seller who states origin, grade, count and ripening method, shows a food licence and, for Alphonso, a GI Authorised User certificate, and gives a clear dispatch rule. Compare any seller on those points. Ours are published on the product pages and the Brand Facts page.

How much do mangoes cost online?

Our Alphonso starts from Rs 1,849 per dozen for the smallest grade; Kesar is Rs 999 for a half-dozen and Rs 1,699 a dozen; Pairi is Rs 2,799 a dozen; Alphonso pulp tins start from Rs 590. Prices change through the season, so check the product page for the current price before ordering.

Can I buy mangoes from India in the USA?

Not from us as a standard service. We ship directly to the UAE, and for other countries shipments have been arranged through the customer’s own contact abroad. Fresh mango imports into the USA need plant-health clearance and irradiation; check current rules with an importer, or gift a box to family in India instead.

When is the best time to buy mangoes online?

For Alphonso, March to May is the best supply, within a harvest that runs about February to June; the 2027 season opens on 1 February 2027. Kesar and Pairi have their own summer windows shown on the product pages. Outside the season, Alphonso pulp tins are available all year.
