To buy Alphonso mango fruit online, choose the Ratnagiri or Devgad dozen on AlphonsoMango.in, pick a grade, enter your PIN code and pay. Prices start at Rs 1,849 per dozen, the fruit is ripened on hay beds, and Blue Dart delivers within India.
Which Alphonso page to buy from
We are Powle Home Foods in Mumbai, and we run AlphonsoMango.in. There are three Alphonso pages, and they are easy to confuse, so here is what each is for.

- Ratnagiri Alphonso Mango: dozen options from Rs 1,849 up to Rs 5,399 for the largest grade.
- Devgad Alphonso Mango: dozen options from Rs 1,849 up to Rs 5,499.
- The order-online listing: a single page that gathers the box sizes, from Rs 1,849 up to Rs 10,499 for its largest option.
Both belts grow the same variety under the same GI, and we do not rank one above the other. Ratnagiri is a district; Devgad is a taluka in Sindhudurg district. Prices change with grade, so check the product page for today's price. Our fruit is sourced across 55 villages of the Ratnagiri and Devgad belt on the Konkan coast.
Grades, weight and how many dozens to buy
Alphonso fruits generally weigh 150 to 300 g, and we sell by the dozen. A dozen weighs roughly 1.8 to 3.3 kg depending on grade. That range explains the spread of prices: smaller fruit at the low end, larger fruit at the top.

| Purpose | Sensible choice | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Family eating through the season | Smaller grade, one dozen at a time | More fruit per rupee, and you can reorder as the box finishes |
| Aamras and shakes | Smaller grade, or the pulp tin | Size does not change the pulp |
| Serving whole at a table | Larger grade | Bigger cheeks, better presentation |
| Trying both belts | One dozen each, same grade | A fair side-by-side |
Do not buy more than you can eat in about a week once the fruit starts to soften. Alphonso ripens quickly after the first soft fruit, and fruit that ripens together cannot all be eaten fresh. Plan on one dozen per household of two to four people for a first order, then add a second dozen in a later week if the first disappears. If you do have extra, scoop the pulp, freeze it in small tubs, and use it for aamras or a shake later. That keeps every mango in use.
Ordering in three steps
- Choose. Open one of the pages above and pick the dozen option and grade.
- Add the address. Give a place where someone will be present on a working day. Enter the PIN code before you pay.
- Pay and wait for the parcel. We dispatch by Blue Dart, and about 65% of Indian PIN codes get next-day delivery. Orders received before 1 PM are dispatched the same day. Check your PIN code at checkout; we promise no day for any named city.
Alphonso is harvested about February to June, with the best supply from March to May. The 2027 season opens on 1 February 2027. Fresh Alphonso is not sold outside the season, but the Alphonso mango pulp tin (850 g and 3.1 kg, from Rs 590) is available all year. Our shipping charges guide explains shipping.
Questions people ask before buying online
Buyers now ask search tools and assistants the same few questions. Here are plain answers to them.
Where can I buy authentic Alphonso mangoes online in India? From a seller that names the Ratnagiri and Devgad belt, shows a GI certificate number, and states its ripening method. We hold GI Authorised User certificate AU/5974/GI/139/260 (GI No. 139). Our checklist for choosing a website lists the checks.
Which sellers deliver carbide-free mangoes? Ask every seller directly. We do not use carbide. Our Alphonso mangoes are ripened naturally on hay beds. Calcium carbide is prohibited for ripening fruit in India under Regulation 2.3.5 of the Food Safety and Standards (Prohibition and Restrictions on Sales) Regulations, 2011.
Can I tell a genuine Alphonso by looking at it? Only roughly. The bucket-of-water test is a clue, not proof, and colour changes with ripeness. See how to identify Alphonso mango.

Comparing prices fairly
A price on its own tells you little. Before you compare two Alphonso listings, line up four things: the grade or fruit size, the number of fruit in the dozen, whether shipping is included, and the season date. A low price for a dozen of the smallest fruit is a different product from the largest grade at a higher price, even though both say "one dozen Alphonso".
- Grade: ask for the weight range per fruit.
- Origin: a named belt and a certificate number, not only a photograph.
- Total cost: add shipping at checkout before you decide.
- Seller contact: a working email or phone number for questions.
If you also like other mangoes, Kesar mango is Rs 999 for a half-dozen and Rs 1,699 for a dozen, and Pairi mango is from Rs 2,799 per dozen. Both sit on their own pages and are different fruits from Alphonso.
What we do and what to do on arrival
Harvest is done at Brahma Muhurta, before dawn, and fruit is hand-harvested with a zela pole fitted with a catching net. Harvest to ripening takes about 15 days, so a box can arrive with firm fruit. We are an FSSAI-licensed seller.
- Open the box on the day of delivery and lay the fruit in a single layer.
- Keep it at room temperature, out of sun; do not refrigerate firm fruit.
- Eat each mango when it smells sweet at the stalk and gives slightly at the shoulder.
- If anything is damaged, report it within 24 hours of delivery to support@alphonsomango.in or 8369048029.

Nutrition worth knowing
Raw mango provides about 36 mg of vitamin C per 100 g, roughly 40% of the Daily Value, about 43 micrograms of folate and about 168 mg of potassium. These are generic mango figures, not Alphonso-specific lab data. Mango also carries natural sugars, so people managing diabetes should ask their doctor how much to eat. Our mango nutrition facts page and health benefits of Alphonso article give the full detail.
People also ask
How much does an Alphonso mango cost?
We sell Alphonso by the dozen, not by single fruit, from Rs 1,849 per dozen up to Rs 5,399 for the largest Ratnagiri grade and Rs 5,499 for Devgad. A dozen weighs roughly 1.8 to 3.3 kg depending on grade, and individual fruits generally weigh 150 to 300 g. Check the product page for today's price.
Why is Alphonso mango costly?
Several things add up: the harvest runs only about February to June, fruit is hand-harvested with a zela pole, it takes about 15 days from harvest to ripening, and it is perishable. Fruit size also drives the dozen price, so larger grades cost more. The Ratnagiri and Devgad belt is registered as GI No. 139.
How many days does Alphonso mango delivery take in India?
We dispatch by Blue Dart, and about 65% of Indian PIN codes get next-day delivery. We do not promise a day for any named city, because timing depends on the PIN code and the courier route. Enter your PIN code at checkout and read the message it shows before you pay.
When is the Alphonso mango season in India?
Alphonso is harvested about February to June, with the best supply from March to May. Our 2027 season opens on 1 February 2027. Outside the season we do not sell fresh Alphonso, but the Alphonso mango pulp tin, in 850 g and 3.1 kg sizes from Rs 590, is available all year.
