How Alphonso mango delivery works
We are Powle Home Foods, Mumbai, and AlphonsoMango.in is our store. Alphonso mango delivery is a simple chain: you pick a grade and a dozen on the product page, the checkout reads your PIN code and shows the shipping charge and estimate, you pay, and the box is handed to Blue Dart. We dispatch by Blue Dart, and about 65% of Indian PIN codes get next-day delivery. Check your PIN code at checkout.
That 65% figure is a national average, not a promise for your street. The estimate shown at checkout for your PIN code is the only timing we stand behind, and we do not promise a delivery day for any named city. If the estimate does not suit you, do not place the order; fresh fruit does not wait well.
Our Alphonso is sourced across 55 villages of the Ratnagiri and Devgad belt, and we hold GI Authorised User certificate AU/5974/GI/139/260 (GI No. 139). We have sold mangoes since 2019, online since 2020, to 47,000+ customers including offline and marketplace sales.
What arrives at your door
The box holds one dozen of a single grade, packed for courier transit so the fruit does not knock about. The mangoes are firm on arrival. That is deliberate: fruit that is ripe when it leaves would be bruised when it lands. Expect two or three days at home before the first fruit is ready.

Damage should be reported within 24 hours of delivery to support@alphonsomango.in or 8369048029, quoting the order number. Take the fruit out of the carton on the day it arrives; a closed box is the wrong place to ripen mangoes. If some fruit is riper than the rest, eat those first and leave the firm ones on the shelf.
Delivery charges and timing
Shipping is calculated at checkout from the PIN code and the number of boxes, and shown before you pay. We do not fold it into the fruit price, so the "from" price on the product page is for the mangoes alone: Ratnagiri or Devgad Alphonso from Rs 1,849 per dozen, up to Rs 2,999 for the largest single dozen and from Rs 3,499 for two dozen. If you are sending boxes to two addresses, place two orders, because the shipping charge is worked out per delivery address. Three things decide how fast a box reaches you: how far your PIN code is from the courier's main routes, whether the address is on a daily delivery run, and the day of the week. Metros and large towns are usually in the next-day group; remote PIN codes may take longer or may not be serviceable for fresh fruit at all, which the checkout will tell you. Delivering a box to someone else
A large share of Alphonso mango delivery orders go to a different address from the buyer: parents in another city, a friend who has moved, a client. The checkout handles this. Put the recipient's address and phone number in the shipping fields and your own in billing. The recipient's phone number matters, because the courier may call it if the address is hard to find or nobody answers the door.
Tell the recipient to expect firm fruit and to leave it out for two or three days; people who do not know this sometimes think the box has arrived unripe. Ripening after delivery
We do not use carbide. Our Alphonso mangoes are ripened naturally on hay beds. Calcium carbide is prohibited for ripening fruit in India under Regulation 2.3.5 of the Food Safety and Standards (Prohibition and Restrictions on Sales) Regulations, 2011. We are an FSSAI-licensed seller.
At home, keep the mangoes in a single layer at room temperature, out of direct sun, and check them each morning. A sweet smell near the stalk and a slight give at the shoulder mean ripe; eat within a day or two of that point. Do not refrigerate unripe fruit. When delivery is available
Fresh Alphonso delivery runs only during the season. Alphonso is harvested about February to June, with the best supply from March to May, and the 2027 season opens on 1 February 2027. Outside the season the fresh listings show the opening date instead of a buy button. Early in the season supply is thin and the larger grades go first; by March the full range of grades is usually listed, and that is the easiest time to get the exact box you want delivered.
All year round we deliver Alphonso mango pulp tins (850 g and 3.1 kg, from Rs 590). The mango collection lists everything, including Ratnagiri Alphonso, Devgad Alphonso, Kesar and Pairi. Ratnagiri is a district and Devgad a taluka in Sindhudurg district; both grow the same variety under GI No. 139, and we do not rank one above the other.
