The plain answer on same day delivery gifts

You can place an order on our website at any hour. That only means the order page is open. It does not mean the box moves faster, and it is not a delivery promise.

Why fresh mango gifts need planning
- It is a seasonal fruit. Alphonso is harvested about February to June, with the best supply from March to May. Our 2027 season opens on 1 February 2027. Outside the season we do not sell fresh Alphonso.
- Fruit has to travel gently. Mangoes bruise, so they are packed and handed to a courier rather than rushed through a local rider.
- The recipient should be home. A box that sits at a locked door for a day is a worse gift than one that arrives two days later at a good time.
- Ripeness takes days. A gift should be ready to eat within a few days of arrival, so you want to know when it lands.
We do not use carbide. Our Alphonso mangoes are ripened naturally on hay beds. That natural ripening is one more reason we ask you to order ahead and not expect an instant box.
What to do when the gift is needed at short notice
These are honest options, in the order we would try them:
- Move the date, not the quality. Send a message saying a mango box is on its way, then order it for the next convenient day. People enjoy being told something good is coming.
- Check delivery before you pay. Enter the recipient's PIN code at checkout. If it is among the roughly 65% with next-day delivery, you will see it there. If it is not, you will know before you buy.
- Choose something that does not depend on the season. Alphonso pulp tins are available all year, in 850 g and 3.1 kg tins, from Rs 590. They suit aamras and milkshakes, and they keep better than fresh fruit.
- Gift later in the season. If it is a birthday or anniversary outside the mango months, plan the mango gift for February to June and tell the person it is coming.
We would not suggest a mango gift as a rescue for an event that is hours away.
How to plan a mango gift so it arrives well
A short plan beats a rush. Here is a simple one.
- Pick the variety. Ratnagiri Alphonso and Devgad Alphonso are both Alphonso, from Rs 1,849 per dozen. Kesar starts from Rs 999 per box, and Pairi is Rs 2,799 for one dozen. Check the product page for the current price.
- Pick the size. A dozen weighs roughly 1.8 to 3.3 kg depending on grade. Larger grades cost more, up to Rs 5,399 for the largest Ratnagiri option.
- Order a few days before the date. Leave room for dispatch and for a delivery day that suits the recipient.
- Use the right address. Give the recipient's address and a phone number that will be answered.
- Tell the recipient. A short message that a box is coming makes someone available to receive it.
