TIPS for preparation of this recipe

  1. For a thick shake, you can add fresh or whipped cream as a topping with mango pieces; it tastes heavenly.
  2. You may try Alphonso Mangoes, but if they are unavailable, you can try some other mangoes. Kesar mangoes also have an excellent taste in the shake.
  3. Reduce milk, or even try cashew milk, Almond milk, or walnut milk for the vegan option
  4. Use the best Mangoes, preferably Ratnagiri Alphonso Mangoes plus Payari Mangoes, which gel well with this. They have minimal fibres and are sweeter, with a great aroma that mesmerises you with every shake.
  5. Fresh mangoes are not available in the winter and rainy seasons. You can even use Mango Pulp, readily available in Indian Stores, or Mango pulp from your refrigerator, which you might have taken out during the scorching summer season with fresh mangoes.
  6. You can try freezing mango cubes for nearly thirty minutes before the recipe and then adding them to the shake; this increases the consistency of the shake and makes it more creamy and fluffy.
  7. You can add Vanilla Ice cream or fresh whipped cream as a topping of your choice.
  8. You may add Ice cubes, which will reduce the consistency of the shake and make it thin, but it makes a chilled shake while serving.
  9. Mango is so sweet that you don't require any sweetener. But you can use Honey or even dates. It tastes delicious.
  10. Topping with Saffron strands, cardamom, or nutmeg gives it a better taste at home. My mother always makes it with nutmeg, as it helps with easy digestion and sound sleep.
  11. Try canned Mango pulp, available in any Indian store, or use ours. We generally make this once weekly as the mango pulp is available.
  12. You can also add skimmed Milk or toned Milk as per your choice.
  13. Since it is the best drink during the scorching heat and summer season, which helps lower body temperature from the summer heat, summer with Kokam Sorbet in the Afternoon, my mother always makes it in the evening, which allows energetic and sound sleep. You can increase sugar content so that it feels refreshing.
  14. You don't want expert chefs, but something accessible and ready in minutes so you can also make it and bring a smile to your wife's face.
  15. For a better taste of mango, reduce the milk; however, if you add milk in higher quantities, there is a risk that the consistency may thin off the shake and separate.
  16. Blend it for a lesser time, like one minute or two minutes, as it may lose the chunky feature of mango chunks.
  17. Don't mix any other available fruits; it may change the taste of mangoes.
