Fresh Alphonso mangoes in Bangalore

Bangalore buyers have more mango choice than most Indian cities. Karnataka grows Totapuri, Raspuri, Badami and other varieties, and the markets here are busy through the summer. People who search for "Alphonso mango Bangalore" usually want something specific: the Hapus of the Konkan coast, in a proper dozen, delivered to their flat, with a seller they can ask questions of. This page is for them.

We are AlphonsoMango.in, run by Powle Home Foods in Mumbai. Our Alphonso comes from the Ratnagiri and Devgad belt on the Konkan coast, sourced across 48 villages. We hold GI Authorised User certificate AU/5974/GI/139/260 (GI No. 139). Our Brand Facts page sets out the details. We are an FSSAI-licensed seller, we have sold online since 2020, and we have served 47,000+ customers, including offline and marketplace sales.

Ratnagiri is a district and Devgad is a taluka in Sindhudurg district. Both give us Alphonso. We do not rank one above the other, and the choice comes down to the grade and price on each page. If this is your first order from us, one dozen in a smaller grade is the lowest-cost way to try. We also list Karnataka-friendly varieties such as Totapuri and Salem mango on their own pages when in season.

Alphonso price in Bangalore

Our Alphonso starts from Rs 1,849 per dozen. The largest Ratnagiri option goes up to Rs 5,399, and the largest listing on our order-online page goes up to Rs 10,499. A dozen weighs roughly 1.8 to 3.3 kg depending on the grade. Prices can change, so check the product page for today's price when you order.

If you are comparing with a local market rate or with another app, compare like for like. We sell by the dozen and the grade and do not quote a per-kilo price, because per-kilo prices hide the size of the fruit. Ask each seller four things: the variety, the region, how it was ripened and how to report damage. Write the answers down side by side before you decide, and do not pay on the lowest number alone. A small fruit and a large fruit can both be genuine Alphonso and still differ a lot in price. Our page on the dos and don'ts of buying Alphonso online is a plain checklist.

Season and timing

Fresh Alphonso is harvested from about February to June, with the best supply from March to May. The 2027 season opens on 1 February 2027. Outside that window we do not sell fresh Alphonso, and the product pages will show it as unavailable. The Alphonso pulp tin is available all year, in 850 g and 3.1 kg sizes. See our season page and the guide to the mango season.

We dispatch by Blue Dart, and about 65% of Indian PIN codes get next-day delivery. Check your PIN code at checkout. We do not promise a day for Bangalore or any named city, because that depends on your PIN code. Our mango delivery guide explains dispatch. We also have other Bangalore pages: Alphonso mango in Bangalore, online mango delivery in Bangalore and Ratnagiri Alphonso mangoes in Bangalore.

How our fruit is ripened

Alphonso mango hay-bed natural ripening — fresh Alphonso mangoes Bangalore

We do not use carbide. Our Alphonso mangoes are ripened naturally on hay beds. Selling fruit ripened with calcium carbide is prohibited in India under Regulation 2.3.5 of the Food Safety and Standards (Prohibition and Restrictions on Sales) Regulations, 2011. Our fruit is hand-harvested with a zela pole fitted with a catching net in the pre-dawn hours.

No home test proves how a mango was ripened. A rough clue is not proof, so ask the seller. For longer reading, see how to identify carbide-ripened mangoes and how to identify authentic Hapus mango.

We supply restaurants and hotels, and we take corporate gifting enquiries. For a larger order, write to us with your quantity, cities and dates before you order, and we will tell you what is possible. There is no GST on fresh mangoes. For corporate gifting orders GST applies on shipping, and the invoice shows it. See our gifting page.
