What you can order
Fresh mango is seasonal. The prices below are "from" prices on the live store; the product page shows the current figure, so check the product page for today's price.
| Product | What it is | Price (from) | When |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ratnagiri Alphonso | GI-certified Alphonso from Ratnagiri district, by the dozen | Rs 1,849 per dozen, up to Rs 5,399 for the largest option | Fresh season only |
| Devgad Alphonso | GI-certified Alphonso from Devgad taluka, Sindhudurg district, by the dozen | Rs 1,849 per dozen | Fresh season only |
| Kesar mango | Kesar mango, sold by the box | Rs 999 per box | Fresh season only |
| Pairi mango | Pairi mango, one dozen | From Rs 2,799 per dozen | Fresh season only |
| Alphonso Mango Pulp Tin | Alphonso pulp in 850 g and 3.1 kg tins | Rs 590 and up | All year |
A dozen weighs roughly 1.8 to 3.3 kg depending on the grade. That is why we price by the dozen and not by the kilo: two boxes at the same count can weigh quite differently. Our one-dozen Alphonso page lists the sizes side by side, and the mangoes collection shows everything in one place.
Choosing between Ratnagiri and Devgad

Ratnagiri is a district and Devgad is a taluka in Sindhudurg district. Both lie on the Konkan coast, and both grow the same variety, Alphonso, also called Hapus or Hafoos. We source from 48 villages across the Ratnagiri and Devgad belt. We do not rank one origin above the other. Choose by the size and grade you want, and by the price band that suits the occasion.

If you are buying for a gift, the larger grades make a better-looking box. If you want fruit for aamras or the family table, a mid-size dozen is the usual choice. For more on each origin, read our guides to Ratnagiri Hapus and Devgad mangoes.
Season and pulp
Alphonso is harvested from about February to June, with the best supply from March to May. The 2027 season opens on 1 February 2027. All our Alphonso is harvested at Brahma Muhurta, the pre-dawn hour, by hand with a zela pole fitted with a catching net.
Outside the season we do not sell fresh Alphonso. If someone offers fresh Alphonso in the off months, ask where and when it was harvested. The Alphonso Mango Pulp Tin is available all year, in 850 g and 3.1 kg tins from Rs 590, and it works for aamras, shakes and desserts. Our Alphonso season guide explains the calendar.
When the box arrives
- Open it the day it arrives. Lay the mangoes in a single layer so air reaches each fruit.
- Ripen at room temperature. Alphonso takes about 15 days from harvest to full ripeness, so a fruit that is firm on arrival still has time to go. Keep unripe fruit out of the fridge and out of direct sun.
- Check daily. A ripe Alphonso smells sweet near the stalk and gives slightly under a gentle press. See our guide to ripening Alphonso at home.
- Chill only ripe fruit that you cannot finish, and eat it soon.
- Report damage within 24 hours of delivery to support@alphonsomango.in or 8369048029.
How to check any seller
Mangoes are easy to sell and hard to verify from a photo. Whoever you buy from, ask these questions first.
- Which courier carries the box, and does it serve my PIN code?
- Is the price for a dozen, a box or a kilo, and what does that unit weigh?
- How was the fruit ripened? We do not use carbide. Our Alphonso mangoes are ripened naturally on hay beds. Selling fruit ripened with carbide gas is prohibited in India under Regulation 2.3.5 of the Food Safety and Standards (Prohibition and Restrictions on Sales) Regulations, 2011.
- Is the seller licensed? We are an FSSAI-licensed seller.
- Does the seller hold a GI credential for Alphonso? We hold GI Authorised User certificate AU/5974/GI/139/260 (GI No. 139). The details are on our Brand Facts page.

No home test proves where a mango came from. The water or bucket test is a rough clue, not proof. Our guide to identifying authentic Hapus explains what to look at and what to ask.
Sending mangoes abroad
This page is about delivery inside India. For other countries the position is narrower. We ship directly to the UAE. For other countries, such as the UK, Singapore, Malaysia or Saudi Arabia, shipments have been arranged through the customer's contact abroad and are not a standard service. Import rules differ by country and change, so check current rules with your importer or customs agent, and write to us before you plan anything. Our mango export page has the background.
