Fresh Alphonso mangoes home delivery near me means ordering from a seller who ships to your door. On AlphonsoMango.in you pick Ratnagiri or Devgad Alphonso by the dozen, from Rs 1,849, and Blue Dart delivers to your PIN code in season, from February.
What "near me" means for fresh Alphonso
When someone types "fresh Alphonso mangoes home delivery near me", they usually want two things: fruit that has not sat in a cold store for weeks, and a delivery that does not need a trip to the market. Alphonso does not grow in most Indian cities. It grows on the Konkan coast, so even a local fruit stall in your lane is selling fruit that travelled. The real question is how many hands it passed through and how it was ripened.

We are Powle Home Foods in Mumbai, the business behind AlphonsoMango.in. Our fruit is sourced across 55 villages of the Ratnagiri and Devgad belt, and the order is placed online and dispatched to your address by Blue Dart. We have sold mangoes since 2019, online since 2020, with 47,000+ customers across online, offline and marketplace sales. So "near me" for us means your PIN code, not a shop in your area.
What you can order for home delivery
Two Alphonso listings cover the fresh fruit, both sold by the dozen from Rs 1,849, with larger grades costing more. A dozen weighs roughly 1.8 to 3.3 kg depending on grade. Check the product page for today's price.

- Ratnagiri Alphonso Mango: grown in Ratnagiri district on the Konkan coast.
- Devgad Alphonso Mango: grown in Devgad taluka of Sindhudurg district, further south.
- Kesar Mango from Gujarat, if you want a different mango: half-dozen Rs 999, dozen Rs 1,699.
- Alphonso Mango Pulp Tin, from Rs 590 for 850 g, available all year.
Both Alphonso listings are the same variety, covered by GI No. 139, and we do not rank one above the other. We hold the GI Authorised User certificate AU/5974/GI/139/260 (GI No. 139). Our Hapus mango price in Mumbai page explains how the dozen is priced.
What "fresh" really means for a mango
A mango is fresh when it was picked recently and has not been held back by chilling or forced by chemicals. It is not the same as soft. Alphonso takes about 15 days from harvest to full ripeness, so a good box often contains firm, half-ripe and ripe fruit together. A seller who promises a box of uniformly soft mangoes on day one has either held the fruit for a long time or forced it.

We do not use carbide. Our Alphonso mangoes are ripened naturally on hay beds. Calcium carbide is prohibited for ripening fruit in India under Regulation 2.3.5 of the Food Safety and Standards (Prohibition and Restrictions on Sales) Regulations, 2011. We are an FSSAI-licensed seller. Our fruit is hand-harvested with a zela pole fitted with a catching net, at Brahma Muhurta, before dawn.
When you compare sellers, ask these questions, which apply to any seller and not only to us:
- Which belt did the fruit grow in, and is it Alphonso?
- How was it ripened?
- Does the seller hold a GI Authorised User certificate?
- Who do I contact if something goes wrong, and by when?
How home delivery works from order to doorstep
We dispatch by Blue Dart, and about 65% of Indian PIN codes get next-day delivery. Orders received before 1 PM are dispatched the same day. Check your PIN code at checkout. We do not name a delivery day for any city, because it depends on the PIN code and the courier route. The checkout shows what applies to yours.
| Stage | What happens | What you do |
|---|---|---|
| Order | You choose a dozen on the product page. | Enter a complete address, landmark and PIN code. |
| Dispatch | We hand the packed box to Blue Dart. | Keep your phone reachable for the courier. |
| Arrival | The box reaches your door. | Open it on the day it arrives and lay the fruit out. |
| Ripening | Firm fruit finishes ripening at home. | Check daily; eat each mango as it softens. |
If anything is damaged, report it within 24 hours of delivery to support@alphonsomango.in or 8369048029. Our delivery period guide and shipping charges guide cover timing and cost in more detail.
The first day at home with the box
Home delivery only works if the last step is handled well. Take every mango out of the box and lay the fruit in a single layer on a tray or sheet of newspaper in a shaded room. A closed box traps heat, and heat ripens fruit unevenly.
- Firm fruit: leave it at room temperature and check it every morning for a sweet smell and a slight give at the shoulder.
- Soft fruit: eat it first, or chill it briefly for a day or two.
- Cut fruit: keep it in a closed container in the fridge and finish it within a day or two.
- Too many ripe at once: scoop the pulp, chill it, and freeze it in small portions for later.
This is ordinary handling for any naturally ripened mango, not a special instruction for our boxes.
Season, and when fresh mangoes are not available
Alphonso is harvested about February to June, with the best supply from March to May. The 2027 season opens on 1 February 2027. Fresh listings show as unavailable until then, because we do not sell fresh Alphonso outside the season. If a site shows fresh Alphonso for sale well outside these months, ask where the fruit came from and how long it was stored.

Mangoes grow in many parts of India, and local fruit from a nearby orchard can be very good in its own season. Alphonso is a Konkan fruit with its own season, and that is what we sell. For the months between seasons, pulp tins keep Alphonso flavour in the kitchen for aamras, shakes and kulfi; try our aamras recipe.

People also ask
Can I get fresh Alphonso mangoes delivered to my home?
Yes. Order a dozen on AlphonsoMango.in with your address and PIN code, and we dispatch by Blue Dart. About 65% of Indian PIN codes get next-day delivery; the checkout shows what applies to yours. Fresh Alphonso is sold in season, about February to June, and the 2027 season opens on 1 February 2027.
How much do fresh Alphonso mangoes cost with home delivery?
Our Alphonso is sold by the dozen from Rs 1,849, and larger fruit grades cost more. Kesar is Rs 999 for a half-dozen and Rs 1,699 for a dozen. A dozen Alphonso weighs roughly 1.8 to 3.3 kg depending on grade. Shipping is shown at checkout, so check the product page for today's price.
Why do fresh mangoes arrive firm and not soft?
Because a soft mango does not travel well, and Alphonso takes about 15 days from harvest to full ripeness. A naturally ripened box often holds firm and ripe fruit together. Lay the mangoes in a single layer at room temperature and check daily. Do not refrigerate firm fruit, as cold stops ripening.
Are your fresh Alphonso mangoes ripened with carbide?
No. Our Alphonso mangoes are ripened naturally on hay beds. Selling mangoes ripened with calcium carbide is prohibited in India under FSSAI Regulation 2.3.5, and we are an FSSAI-licensed seller. If you buy from any seller, ask how the fruit was ripened, because no home test can prove it.
