For an Alphonso export supply enquiry to Singapore, send destination port or airport, quantity, size grade, Incoterm, payment method and shipment window. We hold APEDA registration 225579. Export price, minimum quantity, credit terms and freight are quoted per enquiry, and Singapore's import conditions should be confirmed with the Singapore Food Agency.

Why Singapore buyers should plan early
Singapore is close to India by air, which makes it one of the more workable destinations for a fruit that ripens in transit. Close does not mean simple. The season is short, the paperwork is real and the fruit has its own clock.
I would start the conversation in December or January, ahead of a season that is usually February to June and is listed to start 1 February 2027 for 2027. A buyer who writes in April is competing for capacity with every other buyer who also left it late.
What to confirm on the Singapore side
I am not going to recite Singapore's import rules here. They are set by the destination regulator, they change, and a stale rule in an article is worse than none. What I can say is what to ask.
- Whether your company needs a licence or registration to import fresh fruit, and which one.
- What certificates must accompany the shipment, including plant-health documents.
- Any residue, labelling or packaging conditions.
- Whether a specific post-harvest treatment is required for this fruit.
Get those answers from the Singapore Food Agency or your licensed customs broker, in writing, and share them with the supplier before you ask for a quote. You can start at sfa.gov.sg.
What to include in the enquiry

| Size grade (150-300 g range) | Decides grading and box |
| Incoterm and edition | Decides who pays and carries risk |
| Payment method | Decides release of documents |
| Labelling and certificates | Decides lead time |
| Test evidence wanted | Needs to be arranged before shipping |

Mode and timing
Fruit is harvested to order, hand-picked with a pole and catching net so it never falls, then graded, machine-scanned and given a controlled hot-water treatment, as Brand Facts states. It ripens on hay beds and ships semi-ripe. A worked example. If fruit needs about a week at room temperature to finish ripening and air transit plus clearance takes two to three days, your importer receives it with several days of ripening left. That is a workable shelf plan for a retailer. A long sea voyage shortens that margin to nothing. Decide mode and ripening together.

What we publish and what we quote
Published and checkable: APEDA registration 225579, FSSAI Central Licence 10020022011783, GI Authorised User numbers AU/5974/GI/139/260 (Alphonso) and AU/6932 (Devgad). See the export page.
Quoted per enquiry: export price, minimum quantity, credit terms, freight and country paperwork. I will not give a Singapore price, because none is published.
Quality and carbide
We do not use carbide. Our Alphonso mangoes are ripened naturally (on hay beds, as our FAQ states). Calcium carbide is prohibited for ripening fruit under Regulation 2.3.5 of the Food Safety and Standards (Prohibition and Restrictions on Sales) Regulations, 2011. It releases acetylene and can carry arsenic and phosphorus impurities. Controlled ethylene up to 100 ppm is permitted. Brand Facts states weekly carbide and residue testing by Envirocare Labs through the season; if your importer needs evidence, ask for it up front. A float test is only a rough clue. Only a lab test proves it.
Domestic reference prices
For scale only, our Indian retail dozens are ₹1,849 (small), ₹2,099 (medium), ₹2,499 (large), ₹2,699 (extra large) and ₹2,999 (jumbo), with free delivery, prepaid, by BlueDart. These are not export prices. They show the grades and weights a quote can refer to.
