We do not publish or verify Azadpur mandi mango rates, and we will not guess one. This page explains what to compare before you trust any mandi rate, and how our Alphonso dozen prices, from Rs 1,849, are set out.
Why this page prints no Azadpur mandi mango rate
People who search for the Azadpur mandi mango rate want to know what mangoes cost in the Delhi wholesale trade. We are Powle Home Foods in Mumbai, and we run AlphonsoMango.in. We are a seller, not a market reporter, and we have no verified daily source for Azadpur rates. A figure we could not source would be a guess, so we do not print one.
What we can do is help you read a rate when you get one. A mandi rate is a trade quote. It changes by the day, by variety, by grade, by lot size and sometimes by the hour, and it rarely includes packing, transport or the margin between a wholesaler and the shop where you buy. Treat any single number you see on a website, including ours, as a starting point for questions, not a verdict.
If you need a rate for business, ask the trader or the market committee source that is quoting it, and ask for it in writing with the date. If you are a household buyer, the useful question is different: what will a box of good fruit cost me, delivered, and how do I know what I am getting? The sections below deal with that.
What to compare when you see any mango rate
Two prices for "mango" are comparable only if they describe the same thing. Before you set a mandi figure beside a shop price or an online price, check these points.
- Unit. Is the figure per kg, per dozen, per piece, or per crate or box? A per-kg figure and a per-dozen figure cannot be compared until you know what a dozen weighs.
- Variety. Alphonso, Kesar, Dasheri, Totapuri and others are different fruit. A rate for one says nothing about another.
- Grade and size. Within a variety, small and large fruit are priced differently. Our own Alphonso dozens are sold by grade, and a dozen weighs roughly 1.8 to 3.3 kg depending on grade.
- Ripeness. Raw, mature green, ripe and over-ripe fruit are different purchases with different shelf lives.
- What is included. Loose fruit or packed box, delivery included or not, tax shown or not.
- Date and quantity. A quote is for a day and for a quantity. A rate for a truckload is not a rate for one dozen.
A mandi quote, a shelf price and an online price are three different kinds of figure. We make no statement about what any mandi, trader or other seller charges.
How our Alphonso prices are set out
Our Alphonso is sold by the dozen, by grade. Fresh fruit comes from across 48 villages of the Ratnagiri and Devgad belt on the Konkan coast. Both the Ratnagiri Alphonso and Devgad Alphonso pages start from Rs 1,849 per dozen and rise with the size of the fruit, up to Rs 5,399 for the largest Ratnagiri option. Kesar is Rs 999 for a half-dozen and Rs 1,699 for a dozen. Pairi is from Rs 2,799 per dozen. Check the product page for today's price, because it can change.
| Kind of figure | Usually quoted per | What it usually leaves out |
|---|---|---|
| Mandi or wholesale rate | Kg, crate or lot | Packing, delivery, retail margin |
| Shop price | Kg or dozen | Grade detail, ripening method, delivery |
| Our online listing | Dozen, by grade | Shipping, which is shown at checkout |
We have not converted our dozen prices to per-kg figures, because the weight of a dozen varies with the grade you pick. If you want to compare with a per-kg quote, weigh the fruit you actually receive. Our mango price in Delhi page sets out the same prices from a Delhi buyer's side.
Buying Alphonso in Delhi
We have no Delhi shop and no counter at Azadpur. Delhi orders are placed on the website. We dispatch by Blue Dart, and about 65% of Indian PIN codes get next-day delivery. Check your PIN code at checkout. We do not promise a delivery day for Delhi or any named city, because it depends on the PIN code and the courier route. Someone needs to be at the address to receive a perishable box.
Alphonso is harvested about February to June, with the best supply from March to May. The 2027 season opens on 1 February 2027. Outside the season we do not sell fresh Alphonso, and the Ratnagiri and Devgad listings show as unavailable until it opens. Alphonso pulp tins (850 g and 3.1 kg, from Rs 590) are available all year if you only need the flavour for aamras or a milkshake; see our aamras recipe.
If you want to read about Delhi and the neighbouring cities, start with Alphonso mango in Delhi, mango delivery in Gurgaon or mango delivery in Noida. Report damage within 24 hours of delivery by writing to support@alphonsomango.in or calling 8369048029.
What to ask any seller about quality
A low rate tells you little if you do not know how the fruit was ripened. We do not use carbide. Our Alphonso mangoes are ripened naturally on hay beds. Calcium carbide is prohibited for ripening fruit in India under Regulation 2.3.5 of the Food Safety and Standards (Prohibition and Restrictions on Sales) Regulations, 2011. We are an FSSAI-licensed seller. No home test proves how a mango was ripened; the bucket-of-water test is a rough clue, not proof. The reliable step is to ask.
- Which variety and which grade is this, and how many pieces make a dozen or a kilo?
- How was it ripened, and can you show an FSSAI licence number?
- For Alphonso: which region does it come from? The GI covers Ratnagiri and Devgad; we hold GI Authorised User certificate AU/5974/GI/139/260 (GI No. 139). The number is on our Brand Facts page.
- What exactly is in the price: packing, delivery, tax?
Our guide to how to identify an Alphonso mango lists what to look for, and the Alphonso season guide covers timing.
People also ask
How do I find the Azadpur mandi mango rate?
Ask the trader or market source that is quoting it, and ask for the date, variety, grade, unit and quantity in writing. We do not publish or verify Azadpur rates, so this page prints none. A rate without those details cannot be compared with a shop or online price.
Is a mandi mango rate per kg or per dozen?
It depends on who is quoting, so always ask which unit applies. Our own Alphonso is priced per dozen by grade, from Rs 1,849. A dozen weighs roughly 1.8 to 3.3 kg depending on grade, so weigh what you receive before comparing it with any per-kg figure.
How much does an Alphonso mango cost online?
Alphonso from the Ratnagiri and Devgad belt is sold by the dozen from Rs 1,849, rising with fruit size up to Rs 5,399 for the largest Ratnagiri option. Shipping is shown at checkout. Fresh fruit is sold only in season, and prices change, so check the product page for today's price.
Do you deliver Alphonso mangoes to Delhi?
Yes, by Blue Dart to Delhi addresses when the season is open. About 65% of Indian PIN codes get next-day delivery, and checkout shows what applies to yours. We do not promise a day for any named city. The 2027 season opens on 1 February 2027.
