Mangoes delivery in Gurgaon from the Konkan coast

Gurgaon, officially Gurugram, sits in Haryana on the southern edge of Delhi NCR. Its mango supply mostly comes through the big Delhi markets, so the Alphonso you find locally has usually changed hands several times. We are Powle Home Foods in Mumbai, and we run AlphonsoMango.in. We send Alphonso from the Ratnagiri and Devgad belt straight to Gurgaon addresses by courier.

Ratnagiri Alphonso mangoes for delivery in Gurgaon

We have served 47,000+ customers, including offline and marketplace sales. Our first sales were offline in 2019, and we have sold online since 2020. Gurgaon buyers tend to order for two reasons: a dozen for the family, and boxes for offices, clients or relatives elsewhere in NCR.

This page is written for Gurgaon. It covers receiving a parcel in a high-rise society, ordering for an office, how Delhi NCR summers change ripening, and what the fruit costs. If you live elsewhere in the region, see our pages for Delhi, Noida and Faridabad.

Receiving mangoes in a Gurgaon society or office tower

Most Gurgaon homes are in gated societies, and most offices are in towers with a reception desk. That changes how delivery works. A courier cannot always reach your door, and fruit that waits at a security cabin in summer heat loses quality fast. A few small steps help.

  • Add tower, flat and sector in the address. Gurgaon addresses are easy to mix up, so give the sector, the society name and the tower or block.
  • Tell the guard. Inform the security desk that a Blue Dart parcel is coming, and say who will collect it.
  • Use a mobile number that is switched on. The courier may call from the gate.
  • For offices, name a reception contact. Give a floor and extension, and avoid a delivery day when the office is closed.

Open the box on the day it arrives. If anything is damaged, report it within 24 hours of delivery by writing to support@alphonsomango.in or calling 8369048029.

Which Alphonso to order for Gurgaon

Ratnagiri is a district, and Devgad is a taluka in Sindhudurg district. Both lie on the Konkan coast, and both grow Alphonso, so we do not rank one above the other. Alphonso from this belt is GI-tagged in India under GI No. 139, and we hold GI Authorised User certificate AU/5974/GI/139/260 (GI No. 139). Our guide to the Alphonso GI tag explains the registry record.

Devgad Alphonso mangoes for delivery in Gurgaon

Our fruit comes from across 48 villages of that belt. Harvesting is done before dawn at Brahma Muhurta, and the fruit is cut by hand with a zela pole fitted with a catching net, so the tree is not shaken and the fruit is not dropped. You can order from either product page: Ratnagiri Alphonso or Devgad Alphonso.

Alphonso fruit generally weighs 150 to 300 g. We sell it by the dozen, and a dozen weighs roughly 1.8 to 3.3 kg depending on grade. Smaller fruit suits family eating, and larger fruit suits gifting.

Delivery to Gurgaon

We dispatch by Blue Dart, and about 65% of Indian PIN codes get next-day delivery. Check your PIN code at checkout. Haryana PIN codes are covered by the same check, so enter your Gurgaon PIN code before you pay and read the message the checkout shows. We do not promise a delivery day for any named city, because it depends on the PIN code and the courier route.

The parcel travels a long way from the Konkan coast, so we prefer you to be ready for it. If your society limits visitors or deliveries to certain hours, tell us in the order notes or write to us before the season gets busy. Our delivery period guide and shipping charges guide have more detail.

Ripening in Delhi NCR heat

We do not use carbide. Our Alphonso mangoes are ripened naturally on hay beds. Calcium carbide is prohibited for ripening fruit in India under Regulation 2.3.5 of the Food Safety and Standards (Prohibition and Restrictions on Sales) Regulations, 2011. Ethylene up to 100 ppm is the permitted alternative. We are an FSSAI-licensed seller. A bucket-of-water test is only a rough clue, not proof, and no home test proves how a mango was ripened.

Gurgaon summers are hot and dry, and fruit ripens faster there than in cooler cities. Check the mangoes every day from the day they arrive instead of counting days on the calendar.

  • Keep them out of the sun. A shaded counter or a cool room is better than a sunny balcony.
  • Do not refrigerate unripe fruit. Cold slows ripening and can dull the flavour.
  • Look for the signs. A sweet smell near the stalk and a slight give near the shoulder mean the fruit is ready.
  • Chill once soft. A ripe mango keeps a little longer in the fridge. Cut fruit keeps best in a closed container.

The steps are in our guide on ripening Alphonso at home.

Season, price and pulp

Alphonso is harvested about February to June, and the best supply runs from March to May. The 2027 season opens on 1 February 2027. Outside the season fresh Alphonso is not sold, because the trees give one crop a year.

Ratnagiri and Devgad Alphonso start from Rs 1,849 per dozen. Prices vary with grade, so check the product page for today's price. Alphonso pulp tins are available all year, in 850 g and 3.1 kg sizes from Rs 590, which is useful for aamras and desserts when fresh fruit is out of season. See the Alphonso Mango Pulp Tin.

Ordering for clients, teams and relatives

Mango boxes are a common festive and client gift in NCR. If you are sending several boxes to different addresses in Gurgaon, Delhi and beyond, write to us with your quantities, cities and dates. We do not publish a minimum order or a volume discount, so we will answer for your case. Our corporate gifting guide and gift form help you plan it.
