Importers and distributors interested in Alphonso from AlphonsoMango.in should send a partnership enquiry stating market, volumes, grades, season, handling capability and company details. We are an APEDA-registered exporter (registration 225579). Commercial terms, documents and pricing are discussed per enquiry and confirmed in writing.

Who this page is for
You may be an importer in the US, UK, UAE, Singapore or Japan, a wholesaler in India looking to distribute within a region, or a retailer wanting a steady Alphonso line. This guide helps you write an enquiry that gets a useful reply, and helps you check the supplier you are approaching. It is not a published partnership programme with fixed margins, because we have not published one.
What we state publicly: we are an APEDA-registered exporter, and commercial export enquiries go through our mango export page. Our export page names markets including the US, UK, UAE, Singapore and Japan, with a season from March to June, shipped by air freight. We do not offer retail shipping abroad.
What to put in your application
- Company name, registration, country, website and contact person.
- Your role: importer, distributor, wholesaler or retailer, and your customers.
- Target market and delivery points.
- Volumes: per shipment and per season, with a range.
- Grades: size bands by weight, from small (150 to 180 g) to jumbo (275 to 300 g).
- Timing: preferred weeks, with a fallback.
- Handling: cold storage, ripening rooms, onward logistics.
- Compliance: your import licences and food-safety registrations.
- Payment preference and trade references.
- Questions you want answered.
Be specific. "Interested in mangoes, send details" gets a generic reply at best.
How to evaluate an exporter
Anyone can say "export quality". Look for evidence you can check.
| Check | What to ask | Where to verify |
|---|---|---|
| Export registration | APEDA registration number | apeda.gov.in |
| Food licence | FSSAI licence number | fssai.gov.in |
| GI origin | GI Authorised User number | GI Registry, ipindia.gov.in |
| Ripening | Written no-carbide statement | Supplier document |
| Sourcing | District and village network | Supplier pages |
| Paperwork | Which export documents they handle | Written quote |
Our published numbers: APEDA registration 225579, FSSAI Central Licence 10020022011783, GI Authorised User AU/5974/GI/139/260 (Alphonso) and AU/6932 (Devgad). Export paperwork and certificates for specific destinations are not published on our site; they are confirmed per enquiry. Destination rules, including phytosanitary and treatment requirements and duties, vary by country and change, so verify with the importing country's authority and your customs adviser.
Markets and season
Alphonso usually runs February to June, with the 2027 season listed to start on 1 February 2027. Export shipping on our export page is described as air freight in the March to June window for the named markets. That is a perishable air-freight trade: short windows, firm slots, a tight link between harvest and flight.
Plan with tolerance. Weather moves harvest dates, and air freight space is tight in peak weeks. Importers who treat the season as a calendar rather than a conversation get squeezed. Talk early, ideally months before the season.
What happens after you apply
You get a reply from the team, normally within one business day, asking any missing questions. A quote follows with grades, volumes, price basis and validity. If it fits, the two sides agree dates, documents, payment and claim terms in writing. Nothing is assumed, and nothing relies on a chat message.
Contact: WhatsApp +91 70830 75556 or support@alphonsomango.in, via contact us. Distributors and resellers can also start at the reseller page and the business partnership page. Our APEDA export page describes the export side in more detail.
Distributor-specific questions
- Territory: do you want exclusivity? We have not published exclusivity terms; ask.
- Minimum volumes and margins: not published; confirm in writing.
- Branding: whether you may use our name and GI claims, and under what conditions.
- Quality control at your end: how you will inspect and report issues.
- Data: who owns customer relationships and what is shared.
None of these has a published answer from us. That is deliberate: terms vary by market, season and volume, and we do not want to invent a standard sheet. Raise them early.
How an order reaches you
For domestic retail, fresh mangoes are harvested to order, packed against the order and shipped semi-ripe by BlueDart to serviceable PIN codes, with same-day dispatch before 1 PM IST from Monday to Saturday, free delivery and prepaid payment. Our Brand Facts page describes hand-harvesting with a pole and net, weighing and grading, and hay-bed ripening in temperature-controlled rooms. Export logistics are quoted separately. See the shipping policy.
Calcium carbide is prohibited for ripening fruit in India under Regulation 2.3.5 of the FSSAI Prohibition and Restrictions on Sales Regulations, 2011; it releases acetylene and can carry arsenic and phosphorus impurities. We do not use carbide. Our Alphonso mangoes are ripened naturally (on hay beds, as our FAQ states). Importing countries also test for residues, so ask every supplier for this declaration in writing.
