Amba Wadi Recipe | Mango Burfi Recipe

Amba Wadi (Mango burfi) is a lovely, dense dessert made from mango puree, milk solids, sugar, and cardamom. It is often shaped into squares or rectangles and is a popular sweet in India, especially during festivals like Diwali.

Ingredients:
You can use canned sugar, castor sugar, or Stevia, as per your taste.

Step 1
Take a nonstick pan. Place it on medium flame. Open our Alphonso Mango Pulp, pours it into Pan, and stir continuously. When it starts to bubble, reduce the flame to simmer.
Step 2
Now, the Mango pulp will be half of the quantity you had taken. Add Sugar or use Stevia, or don't use crushed sugar or castor sugar as these are sweetened Mango Pulp. If you want to make it sugar-free or with less sugar, add sugar or use stevia.
Now, slowly mix the mixture on low flame. It thickens the mix and adds some saffron strands and cardamom powder, if required. Once the mixture thickens, just sauté for some time on low flame.
Step 3
Grease a mold plate with pure cow ghee. Pour the mixture onto the greased tray and let it settle for 5 to 10 minutes.
Step 4
As an optional step, you can add poppy seeds if required and add dried ginger powder (सुंठ ) in a mixture if you like the taste.
Step 5
Now, use a knife and mark it with straight lines in your love shapes. Now, these wadis are ready to eat.

- You can add or sprinkle this wadi into poppy seeds as an optional step.
