For an Eid mango gift pack or iftar fruit gift, order ahead, because supply is thin early in the season, which opens on 1 February 2027. Dozens start from Rs 1,849 and Kesar from Rs 999 a box. We cannot promise a delivery date.
The angle of this article is timing. Ramadan and Eid follow the lunar calendar and shift earlier each year, while fresh Alphonso has a fixed season. In some years the two barely meet. If you want an Eid gift or an iftar fruit gift with mango, you need to know that before you order. For other occasions, see our mango gifts by occasion, and for general box ideas see mango gift box and hamper ideas. Prices are "from" prices and can change; check the product page.
Ramadan, Eid and the mango season
Fresh Alphonso is harvested about February to June, with the best supply from March to May, and our 2027 season opens on 1 February 2027. Outside the season we do not sell fresh Alphonso. In 2027 the fasting month falls early in the year, so it can overlap the very start of the season, when supply is thinnest. Check a moon-sighting calendar for the dates that apply to you, because we do not state festival dates.
What this means in practice:
- If your gifting day falls in February, expect limited fruit and order as early as the website allows.
- If it falls in March or later, supply is better, but you should still order ahead.
- If you cannot match the dates, Alphonso pulp tins are available all year and keep well, so they are a safer gift in the weeks before the fruit arrives.
- We cannot promise a delivery date. It depends on the dispatch day, the courier and the PIN code.
What to send for iftar and Eid
Fruit is a familiar part of breaking the fast, and dates are the best-known starting point. Mango is a seasonal addition, not a replacement for what a family already serves. A few simple choices:
- One dozen of Ratnagiri Alphonso or Devgad Alphonso for a family you are visiting or hosting at iftar. A dozen weighs roughly 1.8 to 3.3 kg depending on grade.
- Kesar by the box for a lighter gift or a gathering of friends.
- A larger Alphonso grade from the order-online page for an elder or a senior colleague.
- Pulp for aamras or milkshakes. Alphonso pulp tins suit desserts and drinks at the table.
Building a small iftar hamper
We do not sell a ready-made iftar or Eid pack, and we do not offer special gift packaging for one. What we can do is point you to separate products that fit well together. Each is its own order:
- Dates such as Ajwa dates or Medjool dates, which are a customary way to break the fast.
- Cashews, from whole kernels to roasted and salted, in the cashew collection.
- Freeze-dried Alphonso cubes, which keep longer than fresh fruit.
- Fresh mangoes from the mango collection when the season is on.
If you want several items to reach one person together, write to us before ordering and we will tell you what is possible. Do not assume any seller can combine items unless they say so. Keep the extras few, so the fruit stays the centre of the gift, and avoid sending more fresh fruit than the household can finish in a few days.
What it costs
| Option | From | Notes |

Can I buy an Eid mango gift pack online?
You can order fresh Alphonso by the dozen on our website once the season opens on 1 February 2027. We do not sell a ready-made Eid pack, but you can choose a dozen or a Kesar box and add separate items such as dates or cashews. Check the product pages.
Is mango available during Ramadan?
It depends on the year. Fresh Alphonso is harvested about February to June, with the best supply from March to May, and our 2027 season opens on 1 February 2027. Early in the season supply is thin, so order ahead. Pulp tins are available all year.
What fruit can I gift for iftar?
Dates are the customary start, and seasonal fruit such as mango suits a family iftar table. A dozen Alphonso from Rs 1,849 or a Kesar box from Rs 999 is a simple gift. Order ahead, because fresh mangoes cannot be rushed and we cannot promise a delivery date.
