A fresh mango is not a small, long-lasting favour. It ripens, it has to be eaten within days and a dozen is a large gift. Many families therefore give fresh mangoes to a few close relatives and a smaller, longer-lasting item to everyone else.
Return gift options with mango
These are the options we list. They are separate products.
- A dozen Alphonso, Ratnagiri Alphonso or Devgad Alphonso. A generous gift for grandparents, aunts and a small circle of close relatives. A dozen of ours weighs roughly 1.8 to 3.3 kg depending on grade.
- Kesar by the box. A lower-cost fresh mango, good for a wider list. Kesar is a different variety from Alphonso, with its own taste.
- Alphonso pulp tins. A pulp tin in 850 g or 3.1 kg is not a fresh fruit, but it keeps, it can be gifted at any time of year and families use it for aamras and milkshakes. Tell guests what it is.
- freeze-dried Alphonso cubes or cashews. Small, lighter items that keep well, for guests who will carry gifts home by train or car.

Delivery and timing
Plan the order around the function, but do not plan it to the hour. We dispatch by Blue Dart, and about 65% of Indian PIN codes get next-day delivery. Check your PIN code at checkout. We cannot promise a delivery date, because it depends on the dispatch day, the courier and the PIN code. A good rule is to order well ahead, and not on the day before.
- Choose the delivery address where someone can receive a large box, such as the venue office or your home, and share a phone number.
- Do not let fresh fruit sit in a hot car or a storeroom. Plan to give it out on the day, or keep it somewhere cool.
- Keep the order placed on the website separate from the function date in your mind. You can place an order at any hour, but that does not speed up delivery.
- If a box arrives damaged, report it within 24 hours of delivery through the contact page.

If the function falls outside the mango season
Fresh Alphonso is harvested about February to June, with the best supply from March to May. Our 2027 season opens on 1 February 2027. Outside the season we do not sell fresh Alphonso or Kesar. For a function in those months, the realistic choices are pulp tins, which are available all year from Rs 590, freeze-dried cubes and cashews. These are not fresh-fruit gifts, so give them as what they are, and do not try to pass them off as the fruit.
What to ask any seller before ordering many gifts
- What is the full price per gift, with delivery included, for my quantity?
- Can the order go to one address, and what if guests are in different cities?
- What is the variety, the grade and the number of pieces per box?
- How ripe will the fruit be on arrival, and how long should I expect it to stay good?
- What is the window for reporting damage?
- Are there any limits on quantity? Terms differ by seller, so ask in writing.
