What you get for the price
A fair comparison looks at what is in the box and how it was handled, not only at the total.
- Origin. We source from 48 villages across the Ratnagiri and Devgad belt of the Konkan coast. For Alphonso we hold GI Authorised User certificate AU/5974/GI/139/260 (GI No. 139), listed on our Brand Facts page.
- Harvest. The fruit is harvested at Brahma Muhurta, before sunrise, and picked by hand with a zela pole fitted with a catching net.
- Ripening. We do not use carbide. Our Alphonso mangoes are ripened naturally on hay beds. Selling fruit ripened with calcium carbide (acetylene) gas is prohibited under Regulation 2.3.5 of the Food Safety and Standards (Prohibition and Restrictions on Sales) Regulations, 2011.
- Licence. We are an FSSAI-licensed seller, licence number 10020022011783.
- Delivery. We dispatch by Blue Dart, and about 65% of Indian PIN codes get next-day delivery. Check your PIN code at checkout.

When to buy, and how to look after the box
Alphonso is harvested about February to June, and the best supply runs from March to May. Our 2027 season opens on 1 February 2027. Fresh Alphonso is not sold outside the season. When the box arrives, open it on arrival and spread the fruit on a tray in a cool room. Keep firm fruit out of the fridge until it softens at the stalk end. If any fruit is damaged in transit, tell us within 24 hours of delivery.
